Members Donna Webb and Ching Shih created podcasts with 3 high school girls in their time with SI Vancouver. They featured a neurodivergent girl, a girl in STEM, and a girl’s story of being bullied. It was Donna’s first time doing podcasts. She interviewed the girls after doing research, and created the questions afterwards from their answers. All the girls said, “We just wanted to have the experience.” Donna says, “Anyone can do a podcast interview, just do your research!”

Suzanne shared the inaugural project of SI Milano Net Lead, the online Italian club: a diary for high school girls. It features women in different walks of life, to inspire them to explore different careers, and includes resources for girls with QR codes leading to great information.
Suzanne & Margo would like to form a Girls’ Advisory Group to create a Canadian version of the diary using Career Role Models from our Virtual Career Library.
