  • Wrote a short story critiquing the concept of monuments and gender identity, which was chosen recently for the Annual Atlantic English Undergraduate Conference, where Chyler will represent Acadia University, read her piece and sit on a panel.
  • Has been writing since a young girl – “silly stories on any piece of paper I could find.”
  • Loves the sense of community Soroptimist has, there is always a Soroptimist wherever you go, and they’re always willing to help. “I value the knowledge and life advice I have been given from women from around the world because of my time with Soroptimist.”
  • Finds joy in nature, reading, and baking!
  • Loves keeping busy, so Chy is always with friends or enjoying the outdoors
  • Bakes with a little side business run with her roommate
  • Currently writing a collection of short stories in hopes to gain her third academic publication!
