Darlene Huff

Darlene Huff joined Soroptimist in late 2024 to connect with other women who share her passion for empowering and lifting each other up. Originally from Ontario, she moved to the picturesque Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island seven years ago. As a proud grandmother of four girls scattered across North America, Darlene is deeply invested in issues that affect young women, including the growing threat of human trafficking.

Darlene’s professional background in Human Resources and Business Leader Development has given her valuable insights into both the destructive and transformative power of leadership. (www.thecoachingsuite.com) She brings this expertise to Soroptimist, where her focus is on sparking meaningful conversations, presenting challenges, and encouraging active engagement to help others grow as leaders.

A passionate animal lover, Darlene shares her life with Hunter, a smart and energetic Brittany Spaniel who keeps her on her toes and her husband Ron, a novice wine grower and maker.
