Margo Wipf is married and has three grown sons. Her eldest and his fiancée live in Germany, where he recently completed his studies and is now working as a teacher. Her middle son, who is also engaged, is an environmental scientist. Her youngest is completing his master’s degree at Simon Fraser University; he and his girlfriend live locally in the Metro Vancouver area.
Margo is a Health and Safety Advisor. She builds and maintains workplace safety systems, fosters psychological safety, and creates safer workplaces through education, collaboration, and proactive risk prevention. Margo supports employers with everything from inspections and incident investigations to training and safety program development.
Margo enjoys being outdoors – hiking, biking, gardening and kayaking – as well as baking and cooking.
Margo is passionate about empowering women and girls to stay in school, build confidence, and pursue their goals. Margo is also especially committed to supporting women transitioning out of domestic violence situations and helping them see that there is hope and opportunity ahead.
