Kiara is a software engineer, early in her career. While she was still a few months away from finishing her undergraduate degree, she interned in a special internship from Microsoft called “The Garage”. She had a unique experience, working with a small team of other interns to develop a software project from scratch, taking it through the stages of design, development, testing, and refinement. She was left with a positive impression of Microsoft, and started a full time position at the company.
